Clayton Utz instructed on Tattersall’s IPO

Australia’s Clayton Utz has advised on the largest IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange so far this year, with the A$2.17bn (£920m) listing of gaming house Tattersall’s. Partners Penny Grau and Charles Rosedale led the team, working alongside Tattersall’s in-house team. Tattersall’s was privately held for 120 years and the listing meant a company restructuring, which was conducted by Herbert Greer & Rundle partner Bill Fazio. Allens Arthur Robinson advised Goldman Sachs JBWere and Macquarie Equity Capital Markets, which co-led the arrangers and sponsors.
