Clarke Willmott’s new homes bulk conveyancing team is moving to South West rival Foot Anstey following an agreement between the two firms.
The new homes team has decided to part company with Clarke Willmott because of an increasing level of conflicts. The team advises the buyers of homes on new residential developments, but was often conflicted out of jobs because Clarke Willmott acts for 12 homebuilders.
Jane Lister, managing partner of Foot Anstey, said: “This move is a win for all concerned. For our part, we are delighted to be acquiring a high quality team to join our own highly rated property division.
“This expansion in our services is very good news for our clients and marks further important growth of our Taunton office. The team will arrive just before we move into our new Taunton premises in early March.”
The team will move to Foot Anstey’s Taunton office from today (1 February).
