Clarke Willmott boosts property team

South of England firm Clarke Willmott has hired a new partner to spearhead the firm’s property practice in Southampton.

John Russell joins from White & Bowker. He was previously with Fladgate Fielder.

A development specialist, Russell brings particular expertise in the house-building industry. Clarke Willmott already acts for 12 of the UK’s Stock Exchange-listed house-building companies.

David Powell, head of Clarke Willmott’s house-building sector, said: “John’s standing in the property world is well-known, particularly in the Southampton region, and we look forward to introducing his knowledge and experience to our property clients in the South.”
