This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Last week (23 June) The Lawyer reported that 7 Bedford Row (7BR) had witnessed a drop in turnover of 9.7 per cent, down from £15.5m in 2006-07 to £14m in 2007-08. In fact, the figure provided by the set was not like-for-like with the previous year's figure, as it did not include VAT. Taking VAT into account, 7BR's turnover in the last financial year was £15.9m - an increase of 4 per cent. The set also saw a small increase of O.4 per cent in criminal fees.
