You have to admire DLA's enthusiasm. Not content with telling the City how great it is, the firm has spent thousands on an advert in The Times telling the whole world. Entitled 'In praise of the magic circle', DLA says nice things about the "five or six" law firms that occupy the higher echelons of the City but says they are, in fact, quite expensive. But not DLA. It does lots of work at reasonable prices. The firm even quotes The Lawyer when we said that it's approach to client relationships borders on the fanatical. Did we really call DLA fanatical? Where on earth could we have got that impression from?
