The City Law School has renewed its tie-up with OMelveny & Myers to offer an internship in the US firms Brussels office.
The international LLM student who wins the internship will have the opportunity to spend three months with OMelvenys competition team. They will get the opportunity to handle a range of work from mergers and acquisitions through to regulatory issues and price-fixing cases.
The internship, now in its second year, will run from May to July 2008 and comes with a 5,000 scholarship.
Riccardo Celli, head of OMelvenys European antitrust and competition group, said: Im very pleased to continue our successful cooperation with the City Law School and am looking forward to offering a talented student some practical experience with antitrust law.
The City Law School also offers its LLM students internships with Sidley Austin, Howrey, Thomas Cooper and Cohen Milstein Hausfeld & Toll. The school is hoping to increase this to 10 firms, meaning one in six of its LLM students will have the opportunity to take part in an internship.
