A group of City law firms has helped fund a Ministry of Justice (MoJ) scheme to support the South West London Law Centre (SWLLC).
Firms including Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, CMS Cameron McKenna, Herbert Smith and Lovells combined to provide £80,000 in funding to strengthen the infrastructure at the centre and identify new ways of funding.
Other firms to contribute were Berwin Leighton Paisner, Clyde & Co, Holman Fenwick & Willan Simmons & Simmons and Weil Gotshal & Manges.
The MoJ contributed £235,000 to the pilot project.
