Christmas Gere

Mills & Reeve senior partner Mark Jeffries has made some waves recently with his ambitious plans for the Norwich-based firm. He recently swooped for Addleshaws' family team to launch new offices in Leeds and Manchester. It's not surprising he has fans - some more excitable than others.

One member of Jeffries' camp recently told Tulkinghorn's scribe that Jeffries is "quite a looker in the distinguished Richard Gere kind of way".

Now, you may not have met Jeffries, but Tulkinghorn has. Jeffries is many things - tall, statuesque and charming to name but three of his qualities. But to compare him to Richard Gere would seem like devotion beyond the call of duty.
