Christine Flion is a partner in the Brussels office who specialises in all aspects of real estate.

Her experience includes in particular Belgian and foreign real estate investment transactions, assistance in the negotiations of contracts as sale and purchase, financial leasing, rights in rem, joint ventures, real estate certificates, leases.

She is also involved in all town planning and environmental aspects as due diligence, obtaining of permits including contracts with the authorities and proceedings. Flion also advises clients in the management of real estate development projects including, the drafting of contracts with developers, architects, engineers, drafting of general and specific terms and conditions, the property development and the plant engineering and construction. She also provides assistance in estate planning as national and international wills, structural optimisation, real estate companies and in all kind of real estate disputes, i.e. construction, sale, leases, liability claims.

Flion studied law in Belgium at the University of Louvain-La-Neuve and international and transport law at the Université libre de Bruxelles. She obtained a graduate in town planning and environment in 1992 in Charleroi.

She began her career as a lawyer in 1987, worked with the US law firm McKenna and Cuneo and then moved to Landwell, in the real estate department during five years. She joined our Brussels office as real estate partner in 2005. Christine is member of the Brussels bar.

Flion publishes articles in legal gazettes and she is member of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and of the International Facility Management Association. She speaks French, Dutch and English.
