Chris Dolan
Chris Dolan is a partner in Shoosmiths’ real-estate department and is based at our Solent office. He is head of Shoosmiths’ southern residential development team that advises national and regional housebuilders on all aspects of site acquisition, land assembly, disposals, options and unit sales.

He has experience of dealing with mixed-use developments as well as large-scale strategic acquisitions acting for residential developers of all sizes, including national housebuilder Bellway Homes on large-scale residential developments.
Dolan also has extensive experience of all aspects of commercial conveyancing, providing advice to commercial developers, investors and end users. He has vast experience in dealing with acquisitions, disposals, portfolio management and all aspects of landlord and tenant matters in an investment context.
Dolan qualified as a solicitor in 1985. He was a partner in the Bournemouth firm of Allin & Watts. In 1996 he joined regional law firm Blake Lapthorn Linnell, becoming a partner in 2000. He joined Shoosmiths in 2004 as a partner.
He is a Manchester United season ticket holder with a seat in the Stretford End.
