Full marks to Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS) managing partner Howard Morris for honesty in the face of adversity.
Recently Morris was regaling one of Tulkinghorn's scribes with tales of his summer holiday travels in China. Finding himself in Beijing, Morris thumbed through his copy of Lonely Planet for pointers on what to do. He found that any lost or lonely traveller in need of legal advice in the city should make their way to DWS's office. Sadly, as Morris gamely pointed out, the firm's office there closed its doors some time ago.
Still, exactly what use a bunch of City types would have been to a long-haired, dope-smoking hippy traveller is anyone's guess.
