A CLIENT with his trousers around his ankles is the provocative image being peddled by an after-the-event insurance company to promote its product on the back of the Government's plans for legal aid.
Greystoke Legal Services has teamed up with 160 law firms on its panel to run the 12-week newspaper campaign to promote its insurance product LawAssist. The campaign features images designed to bring home the message that without after the event insurance, clients will be left high and dry once the Government withdraws legal aid from PI claims.
The LawAssist scheme covers both sides' solicitors' costs, guaranteeing the solicitor is paid whether or not the case is won, and is exactly the type of product the Government is encouraging as it prepares to abolish legal aid for personal injury cases.
