Charles Russell is expanding its family law department by taking a team from Campbell Hooper just three months after plundering Rooks Riders' divorce team.
Westminster-based Campbell Hooper is losing its head of family law - and the only partner in that practice area - Sarah Anticoni. She will join Charles Russell as a partner. She brings with her assistant solicitor Sarah Whitten.
Their appointment comes hard on the heels of the poaching of former Rooks Riders partner Erica Shelton and her team. Shelton acted for Lady Conran in her divorce from Sir Terence Conran (The Lawyer, 12 July).
Charles Russell's head of family law David Davidson says: "Sarah Anticoni's appointment very much consolidates our position.
"Her combination of youthfulness, experience and an excellent practice will bring a new dimension to the department."
Anticoni's practice predominantly negotiates financial settlements in divorce cases and includes some child work, including abduction cases.
Charles Russell is highly rated for its family law work and these latest appointments will strengthen its team.
Family lawyer Grant Howell took up the firm's first full-time managing partner post in September.
