Charles Russell will launch its West End-based office on Monday (10 September) in a bid to ramp up its private client practice.
The office, located in London’s King Street, SW1, will initially house two partners and six to eight associates. The firm aims to increase that number to around 12 lawyers by the end of the year.
Earlier this year (26 March) The Lawyer reported on the firm’s decision to launch a West End office headed by property acquisition consultant Richard Crosthwaite.
Crosthwaite said: “From a logistics point of view the new office is in a much better location considering it is closer to most of our clients in the West End. Clients have been saying that they love the service Charles Russell provides in the property sector but getting to the office in EC4 is difficult.”
As of Monday the firm will have offices in Bahrain, Cambridge, Cheltenham, Gibralter, Geneva, Oxford and two in London.
The King Street office will focus on high-end property services in the West End.
Crosthwaite commented: “The firm has experienced a lot of growth in this sector and it is important for us to listen to our clients and be sure we are providing the best service possible.”
