In a joint statement released by the firms, they said that the firms were unable to reach an agreement on several aspects of the proposed merger.
Michael Greville, managing partner of Watson Farley & Williams, and Chadbourne managing partner Charles O’Neill stated: “There was a good business case for the merger and WFW is an excellent firm. Unfortunately, we were not able to reach agreement.”
