A former Chadbourne & Parke partner has rejoined the firm after defecting to Dechert’s Moscow office earlier this year.
Partner Konstantin Konstantov was part of a group of three partners, including Chadbourne’s Moscow head Laura Brank, who joined Dechert in May.
At the time The Lawyer reported that the two firms were locked in a bitter dispute over the future of a five-partner team in Chadbourne’s Moscow office (8 May 2009).
Chadbourne managing partner Charles O’Neill said: “We’re very pleased to welcome back Konstantin as the sixth resident partner in our Moscow office.”
Chadbourne became one of the first US firms to establish an office in Moscow when it opened in 1990. It currently has around 30 US, English and Russian-qualified lawyers.
