Celador International, the company behind TV quiz show Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, has recruited Warner Music International’s director of business and legal affairs.
As first revealed on www.thelawyer.com last Wednesday (28 April), it is understood that Steve Lazarus is moving from Warner Music to join Celador as commercial director because his position was made redundant after a management shake-up at the music group.
The radical restructuring programme, which is expected to result in around 1,000 redundancies, was announced last month after Warner Music was taken over by a consortium led by Edgar Bronfman.
Before joining Warner Music, Lazarus worked at Carlton Television for 10 years on and off. He joined Celador last week.
