Celador International, the television production company which makes Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? and You Are What You Eat, has appointed a new head of legal.
Tim Robinson, a partner at media boutique Sheridans, is set to join Celador next month, where it is expected he will kick off a review of the legal function. “Part of my role is to review the requirements of the legal team going forward,” he said.
He replaces Ashton Welsh, who was acting in a temporary capacity as head of business and legal affairs.
Celador now has four full-time lawyers. The group is responsible largely for the licensing of Celador’s television portfolio.
Earlier this year, Celador appointed Warner Music International’s director of business and legal affairs Steve Lazarus as a commercial director.
