    I think a firm with such a high PEP level and overhead costs that must be staggering, the answer must definitively be NO, you don't need offices there.

    I wonder which firms if any will pick up Links disbanding offices, perhaps usual suspects W&C, Salans, Weil, Chadbourne?

    I think in short, some of them. Budapest, Prague and Brats are of less interest. Poland is a very solid market so if Linklaters isn't doing well there then that is their own fault and not the market. Moscow is of course hot, but frankly, if they could sort out the management of Bucharest, that is a solid office also, not so much for the domestic market but as it acts as a hub for the Balkans... it will be interesting to see what they do with Mogg, Torscher and of course the old seadog Schilling...
