CC signs up key partners to manage India alliance

Clifford Chance has established a network of key partners to manage its newly formed best friends relationship with Indian firm AZB & Partners.

The magic circle firm has appointed a number of partners in key jurisdictions, including London and New York, to ensure work is referred between the firms.

Finance partner and India practice head Chris Wyman said : “We’re coordinating the relationship to make sure it works efficiently. There are Indiafocused teams in various offices with a number of partners involved.”

Wyman, fellow London partner Andrew Carnegie and Singapore partner Edward Bradley are responsible for global management; New York corporate partner Sarah Jones is on the US India team; and key partners have been appointed in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy and Spain.
