Clifford Chance has boosted the ranks of its US finance and restructuring groups with two lawyers from Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker.
Paul Hastings partner John Howitt joins the New York office as a partner and he will lead the firm’s US aircraft finance practice. Ray Warman joins as counsel.
Howitt’s experience encompasses a whole range aircraft financing including leveraged and single-investor lease transactions, operating leases (domestic and cross-border), new and used equipment purchases, sales and sale-leasebacks, tax-benefit leases, secured credit facilities, restructurings, bulk sales and securitizations and manufacturer support arrangements.
Warman was of counsel at Paul Hastings. He has previously held positions as associate general counsel at GE Capital Aviation Services as well as working as a finance lawyer in private practice.
