It is a case of second-time lucky for Cineworld and its legal advisers as the company prepares for its pending flotation, with Clifford Chance, Lovells and Olswang acting for the UK's second-largest multiplex operator. All was in place for Cineworld, which operates 79 cinemas, to float in July, but with a combination of summer holidays beckoning and market conditions not being sunny enough, the float stalled at the last moment. Now it is back to school and all the advisers working on the abandoned float have reprised their roles, with Iain Hunter, Richard Brown and Fabrizio Carpanini leading at Clifford Chance, Lovells and Olswang respectively. The flotation should take place some time in the next three weeks, but it is understood that all the paperwork has been done and the deal is being pushed through as quickly as possible.
