Greg Olsen will rejoin the magic circle firm's London competition team as a partner after leaving as a senior associate in 2001 to set up Jones Day's London competition team.
"I feel I'm leaving the team at a point when its forging ahead," said Olsen, who led the Jones Day team that successfully advised MasterCard on its high-profile appeal against the Office of Fair Trading's (OFT) ban on interchange fees.

Global head of competition Simon Baxter said: "This lateral hire is part of the ongoing growth strategy for our competition practice in both Europe and worldwide."
