Clifford Chance’s regional head of litigation and dispute resolution in Asia is returning to the firm’s London office.
Denis Brock will return to the UK next year and will be succeeded by Martin Rogers towards the end of 2005. Brock will continue be involved in the business of the Asia region including its insurance practice.
Global head of litigation practice Peter Chaffetz said in a statement: "For over eight years in this role, Brock has provided superb leadership and business management for our litigation practice in Asia. We have a strong team in the region, and we owe Brock our thanks and congratulations on their achievements.”
Brock joined Clifford Chance in 1986 and became partner in 1995. In addition to leading the litigation and dispute resolution group he has also led the insurance practice in Asia.
Rogers has spent 16 years in Hong Kong and Asia. He joined Clifford Chance from Herbert Smith in 2002, co-leads Clifford Chance's Asian financial services regulatory group and also practices in insolvency work, general commercial litigation and arbitration.
