Haarmann Hemmelrath has strengthened its London energy practice with the hire of Field Fisher Waterhouse's (FFW) head of wind energy. Stefan Schmitz joins as a partner, having been a senior associate at FFW, where he spent five years specialising in wind energy, geothermal and solar projects.
Addleshaw Goddard has bolstered its competition, trade and regulatory (CTR) practice with the hire of senior economist Peter Bamford. He joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was director of merger and competition economics. In his new role, Bamford will act as a consultant economist, advising the CTR practice on cases involving competition matters.
