Linklaters' Keith Johnson is moving to Hong Kong to take over from Asia managing partner Simon Davies as head of the office's corporate/M&A practice. Johnson was a member of Linklaters' Hong Kong corporate team in the mid-1990s, but later returned to Europe. The firm is also transferring Paul McNicholl from London to Shanghai to strengthen its corporate/ M&A practice. The pair are the sixth and seventh new partners to join Linklaters' Asia operation since April.
w London-based Campbell Hooper has hired corporate tax lawyer David Scott from Hammonds to boost corporate and commercial. Scott was previously at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and has a broad knowledge of corporate tax, employee share schemes, VAT and stamp taxes.
Suffolk's Ashton Graham has boosted its family team after solicitor Tina Inniss joined the firm's Felixstowe office on her return from maternity leave. Inniss was previously in the Ipswich office. Elisabeth Julien, who joined the firm's family team to cover Inniss's leave, will stay on in the Ipswich office.
