Kent firm Vizards Wyeth has appointed two new partners. Fiona Simpson joins the commercial litigation department from Orchard, where she was a partner, while Susanna Gilmartin, an employment specialist, joins from ASB Law in Croydon, where she headed the employment team.
Veale Wasbrough has taken on a new lawyer. Iain McColl of Taylor Wessing joins the estates and tax planning team. Prior to Taylor Wessing, McColl trained at Allen & Overy.

Manches' London office has appointed Richard Dickinson as partner to the technology and IP group. The group now numbers four partners and five solicitors, including two trademark attorneys. Dickinson joined Manches in early 2005 from Lovells and specialises in commercial and regulatory advice, particularly for the media and entertainment industries.
