Moon Beever has hired Davis Arnold Cooper’s former head of business recovery Shashi Rajani as a partner in its insolvency and business recovery team. Rajani was formerly a barrister in both London and Tanzania and an insolvency manager with Coopers & Lybrand.
Cheshire firm Forshaws has strengthened its Warrington commercial division with two commercial lawyers. Peter Marks, a qualified engineer, joins from Croftons, where he specialised in commercial property, while newly-qualified Mark McKeating completed his traineeship at the Thrasher Walker Partnership.
Simon Bastin has been appointed director of business development at Watson Farley & Williams. Bastin was previously the business development manager at the firm. The appointment follows Tim Pashley’s departure as commercial director at the end of last year.
