London firm Maples Teesdale has appointed David Stevens as a litigation partner. Stevens, formerly a senior solicitor at Norton Rose, will be specialising in commercial and property litigation and will head the litigation team.
East Anglian firm Kester Cunningham John has announced the appointment of Vanessa Hoare as partner and head of the residential property department. Hoare was admitted as a solicitor in 1977 and has practised in the region since 1979. As part of her new role, Hoare will be responsible for the residential property teams in Norwich and Kesters’ four other offices across the region.
Howard Kennedy has recruited Howard Lewis-Nunn as a senior associate in its employment department. Lewis-Nunn, a barrister, joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he spent five years as an employment lawyer. The London firm has also hired two assistants. Five-years qualified Susanne Cheung joins the firm’s property department from London firm Devonshires, while Michelle Liu joins the company and commercial department from Davenport Lyons.
