King & Spalding has made a slew of hires. Paul Murphy rejoins as a partner in the Atlanta office of the firm where he spent nine years as a litigator. John Bentivoglio joins the Washington DC office as co-chair of the firm’s healthcare group. The firm has also hired patent litigators Alexas Skucas and Allison Altersohn from Kenyon & Kenyon.

Berryman Shacklock has recruited Roiter Zucker partner Scott Farnsworth as an associate in its innovation and technology team.

Davies Arnold Cooper has snared Davies Lavery partner Nish Kanwar for its commercial litigation team. Meanwhile, senior solicitor Jacqueline Backhaus joins the firm’s property department from Hewitsons.

Blake Lapthorn Linnell has scooped senior IT associate Lindsay Ellis from Wragge & Co.
Ellis is due to join as a salaried partner at the end of the month.

Morton Fraser has bolstered its asset finance team with the hire of Graeme Heaton. Heaton joins from Sun Microsystems and has also been in-house counsel at BNP Paribas.
