Lawyers are no longer relying on professional qualifications but are heading in their droves to business school MBA programmes. That is the verdict of education specialists TopMBA.com. Its annual survey has revealed lawyers now make up 9 per cent of MBA students across Europe, up from 6 per cent in 2003. MBA courses can cost as little as £5,000 or as much as £32,000, so the UK stop-off of the MBA Tour on 18 October at London’s Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is a good chance to narrow down the options.
