Wigan’s Greenhalghs Solicitors has appointed a new solicitor in the wake of a recent firm relocation to larger premises. Richard Kerr joins as an assistant solicitor from Manchester law firm Nexus Solicitors, where he will practise as a commercial litigator. Greenhalghs, a six-person firm, moved from a rented office space to a new, wholly-owned premises two months ago.
Former Bird & Bird sports lawyer Mark Loosemore is joining his father’s consultancy and skills training firm for lawyers as chief executive, capping a career spanning 10 years working in sports law and business. Loosemore joins Cardiff-based company Altior Consulting & Training from the Welsh Rugby Union, where he was group commercial director. His father, John Loosemore, who originally set up the company 25 years ago, will become the company’s chairman.
