Over the past three years Tods Murray has promoted five to the partnership and made three lateral hires. In 2006-07, however, the firm made up only one lawyer internally and made no lateral partner hires. The one internal promotion in litigation stands in stark contrast to the previous year, when the firm promoted four. Two were in the real estate team, which remains a focus of growth for the firm, as does corporate.
