Bristol-based TLT Solicitors has not shown much enthusiasm for promoting its associates, with just three made up to the partnership over the past three years, none of which have been in London.

The firm has seen a dozen lateral recruits come into the partnership during that time, with commercial property an area of focus. Associates in the corporate/commercial, competition and litigation/dispute resolution practices must be questioning whether their partnership opportunities lie elsewhere.
