Promotions at Morgan Cole ground to a halt this year with no lawyers promoted to the partnership in 2006-07. The firm nevertheless has a clear preference for home-grown partners, having made six of its seven appointments to the partnership over the past three years from within. These have been across a range of disciplines, with the nearest to a ‘trend’ being two appointments into the corporate team.
