Hill Dickinson merged with Hill Taylor Dickinson at the end of 2006, accounting for 20 of the lateral partner hires in 2006-07, largely within the marine practice. This follows the 2004-05 merger with 20-partner firm Bullivant Jones. Despite the mergers Hill Dickinson has made a swathe of internal appointments, with eight promoted in 2006-07. This is in stark contrast to 2005-06, when only one lawyer was made up into the London insurance team.
