In the past three years Clyde & Co has added 63 to its partnership but has seen 23 depart. Of those additions, only 22 were internal promotions, while 41 were lateral hires, although this does include the 15 aviation partners that joined through the 2005 merger with aviation boutique Beaumont & Son.
The largest partnership growth has been in corporate with 17 additions, while the firm’s historically dominant insurance practice only saw nine. London continued to dominate partnership appointments, taking 12 of the 22 promotions handed out in the past three years.
