Since McGrigors demerged from KLegal in 2003 it has made five lateral hires and 13 internal promotions. The biggest gainer has been the corporate group, which has had four promotions and two external hires. Second is litigation with four internals (two being specialists in tax litigation) and one lateral. Banking and projects account for two internal promotions since April 2004.
