The majority of new partners in the past three years have been lateral; 16 compared with 10 homegrown. Family is one of the few areas at Manches where internals outnumber laterals. It has been one of the biggest gainers over the past few years, with three internal promotions in 2005 and two appointments in 2006 – one internal and one lateral. The two other major areas of growth have relied slightly more on laterals. Real estate has expanded with a total of seven appointments in 2004 and 2005. Technology/IP had no appointments in 2004, but in 2005 it swelled by four. |
