Irwin Mitchell has promoted and hired partners specialising in its core areas of personal injury and litigation. In the past three years the firm has made up three litigators and one personal injury specialist, in addition to hiring one litigator and three personal injury partners.

New partners are spread fairly evenly across the firm�s offices. London, Birmingham and Leeds have all welcomed three in the period surveyed, while Sheffield and Newcastle have each gained two new partners. The Newcastle hires both came in 2003-04 in the personal injury field, building on the firm�s new office there.
