Public sector firm Capsticks is mourning the death of partner Suzanne Durey, who was head of the firm’s estates and construction team.
In a statement the firm said: “It is with deep regret that we announce the death of our partner Suzanne Durey, who sadly died recently.
“Everyone here at Capsticks is deeply shocked and saddened by this news. She was a good friend and colleague and, aside from being a very successful lawyer, will be remembered for her good humour, great sense of fun and enthusiasm.
“She will be greatly missed and our immediate priority is to provide support to her family, friends and colleagues at this very difficult time.”
Durey, who trained at Richards Butler, joined Capsticks in 1995, making partner two years later.
Her practice was focused on NHS property transactions and in particular PFI/PPP projects and the disposal of surplus land.
