CMS Cameron McKenna has been instructed by the government of the Czech Republic on the privatisation of state-owned carrier Czech Airlines.
The firm has been called in, alongside Deloitte, to advise on the sale, which is expected to raise up to CZK5bn (£164m).
Camerons corporate partner Richard Bacek is working with Josef Kotrba of Deloitte on the privatisation.
Camerons was one of two firms to make the final round of a public tender for the work, against local firm Toman Devaty & Partners.
The majority of state-owned enterprises have been privatised in recent years but there are still some major prizes to be sold to the private sector, including Prague Airport and energy group CEZ.
Several firms are competing to become the adviser of choice for the Czech government. As well as Camerons, Weil Gotshal & Manges and Salans have advised the state in the past.
The government hopes to sell its 92 per cent stake in Czech Airlines by September, although it has retained the right to cancel the privatisation at any time.
Camerons has been in Prague for more than 15 years.
