CMS Cameron McKenna has become the latest UK firm to jump on the limited-liability partnership (LLP) bandwagon. Camerons partners voted in favour of LLP conversion last week and the change will take effect on 1 May. Other firms converting in time for the start of the new financial year include Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Herbert Smith and Watson Farley & Williams. Allen & Overy, Eversheds, Halliwells, Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw and Wragge & Co have already converted.
