Callaghans loses family law partner to TWM

Partner Karin Walker will be based at TWM's Tunsgate office in Guildford. She rejoins her former assistant Demelza Nicholas, who recently joined TWM from Callaghans. Walker is understood to have taken much of her practice with her.
As well as being an experienced family lawyer, Walker trained with the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA) as a mediator and was recently appointed as a governor of the UK College of Family Mediators. She also serves on the SFLA's national mediation committee.
Callaghans has hired Judith Ball from Surrey firm Brand & Co to head its matrimonial department.
