Cadwalader Wicker-sham & Taft's London office has lost restructuring partner Justin Bickle to client Oaktree Capital Management.
Bickle will take up a business role in Oaktree's principal investments group. Oaktree is a US investment company with offices in Europe and Asia that specialises in high-yield securities and distressed debt companies. Bickle will join Oaktree in November.
Bickle joined the US firm as an associate in 2001, becoming a partner in 2004. At Cadwalader he advised on many high-profile restructuring mandates, including the £408m British Energy restructuring and the £2bn TXU Europe administration.
A Cadwalader spokesperson said: "Justin has been a valued and highly regarded member of the Cadwalader team and we look forward to working with him."
