Burges Salmon and Halliwells advised in the £46m sale of family holiday business Pontins to Ocean Parcs, an investment company led by Pontins' former chief executive, Graham Parr.
Ocean Parcs plans to re-develop the seven holiday resorts to promote Pontins as an environmentally friendly holiday destination.
Burges Salmon advised Ocean Parcs on the deal, led by corporate associate Doug Streatfeild-James, property partner Carol McFarlane and finance partner Richard Leeming.
Leeming said: "We are delighted to have helped Ocean Parcs with this transaction. It was a long and complex deal and this makes it especially satisfying for all concerned to have completed it successfully."
Burges Salmon will also advise Ocean Parcs on legal issues surrounding the redevelopment of the holiday camps.
Halliwells corporate partner Rebecca Grisewood advised Pontins on the sale.
