The London office of US firm Bryan Cave has hired Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS) banking and finance partner Ed Marlow.
Marlow, who will join as counsel in the firm's corporate finance and securities group on 1 May, was the first head of DWS’s PFI group and was head of banking in the firm’s Hong Kong office between 2001 and 2003.
His experience includes syndicated lending, leveraged and project finance, structured finance and debt capital markets.
As revealed by The Lawyer (2 April), Bryan Cave is also looking for new London offices after hitting its 2007 recruitment target in just three months. Partner Robert Wieder joined the firm's London base from Field Fisher Waterhouse in February, one of six new recruits this year.
London managing partner Anthony Fiducia said the firm is "urgently" seeking new office space three times the size of its current home in Cannon Street, EC3. The firm has 38 fee-earners in London.
