Browne Jacobson appoints new chief" />Midlands firm Browne Jacobson has appointed its head of business services as managing partner. Iain Blatherwick replaces Brian Smith, the firm’s managing partner since 2001. Smith will return to his former role as head of planning and corporate. Partner Gavin Cummings becomes the new head of business services.
The firm has also promoted seven associates to partner and four to associate.
The new partners are: Andrew Christon, Steven Conway, Andrew Hopkin and Kevin Lawson in insurance; Mark Hughes and Richard Nicholas in business services; and Tom Howard in property.
