Brown Rudnick has hired insolvency partner Adrian Harris from Chadbourne & Parke for its City office.
Harris, who has a strong focus on the hedge funds sector and emerging markets, joins the firm’s European bankruptcy and corporate restructuring group.
He is Brown Rudnick’s third lateral hire since June, with Ashurst structured funds head Nick Terras joining last month alongside corporate and capital markets partner Massimo Galli from White & Case.
Harris joined Chadbourne in 2006 when he moved from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe as part of the firm’s London restructuring launch. He had been head of Orrick’s European insolvency and restructuring practice. He was also Orrick’s London managing partner between 2004 and 2005.
Brown Rudnick CEO Joseph Ryan said: “Adrian’s addition to our London office will offer even greater depth to our insolvency expertise and will reinforce our UK insolvency team as a top tier practice in the UK.”
