Scottish firm Brodies has re-elected its management team and hired Morton Fraser finance partner Jeremy Fraser.
Fraser practises regulatory law and asset finance and is also the former head of legal for Lloyds TSB Scotland. A date for his arrival has not yet been confirmed, but a spokeswoman said it will be in the summer.
The firm reappointed managing partner Bill Drummond for his fourth term and chairwoman Joyce Cullen for her second term.
Brodies will also promote five associates to partner level on 1 May, making the 52-strong partnership the largest of any solely Scotland-based firm.
The partnership promotions comprise two new partners in the real estate group, Odell Milne and Kevin McGlone; Stephen Goldie in real estate litigation; Tony Hadden in employment; and Douglas Mathie in technology.
